India’s first and leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has decided to increase the prices of several popular models by 17,000 Rs, owing to distribution costs, hike in commodity & administrative.
Maruti Suzuki India manufactures a range of models, spanning from hatchback Alto 800 to premium sedan the S Cross, priced from 2.45 to 11.29 lakh (ex-showroom in Delhi). Last month, the officials of MSI said its various models will be hiked from January. The Tata Motors too increased the prices of their models by 25,000 January 1.
The hiking in pricing range from 1700 to 17,000 Rs. The Maruti Suzuki, presently have an assortment of popular brands in the market, such as the Alto, S-Cross & Vitara Brezza.
